< Back     What to wear to the races: Spring Racing Tips for blokes 11/07/2014
Melbourne Cup: Etiquette tells us a yellow rose is most appropriate when it comes to your look for this great race day. A suit, shirt, tie and good dress shoes are mandatory, but your combinations can be as bold or as creative as you like - its Australia's racing day of days.
Derby Day: The kick off of the racing season, this is definitely an event for the racing purist! It's important to look chic so pull out the black and white. A blue cornflower to your lapel will also have you walking the talk.
Oaks Day: Typically a day for the women, so why not impress them with a pink rose on the lapel. Look great teamed with a highly masculine look. It's also a great rapport builder.
Stakes Day: Somewhat more relaxed, Flemmington's final race day is great for families. Try on a classic suit in a navy or charcoal and match it with your most daring shirt that encapsulates your mood for the day - if you like the thought of candy stripes...go for it!
Caufield Cup: Make a statement about your personable style in a well-cut suit. Remember to make care with your all important accessories; tie, hat, shoes etc.
